Services Include:COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS
Our comprehensive eye exams include refraction for glasses and/or contact lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia (loss of ability to focus at near with age) as well as a full eye medical evaluation for glaucoma and macular degeneration CHILDREN'S EYE EXAMS
Our children's eye exams include all the tests done with adults, but picture charts are available for those unable to distinguish letters and matching can be done with nonverbal patients. Diabetic eye care
Family Vision Care of Ponca City is proud to work with local primary care doctors to provide Diabetic Eyecare. We believe that it is important to not only treat the eyes but the whole person. emergency eye care
Our emergency eye care is for ocular pain or trauma, including pink eye, foreign bodies, abrasions, and chemical incidents. Problem specific care can also be provided for: eye allergies, double vision, sudden loss of vision, flashes, floaters, red eyes, lesions of the eyelid, and eyelashes. lasik care
We help our patients with their care before, during and after lasik eye surgery. We co-manage primarily with TLC Laser Eye Centers in Tulsa, OK, but we can co-manage with any provider by request. cataract care
We provide care for our patients before, during and after cataract eye surgery. We can preform pre-operative evaluations of health as well as recommend the proper implant for replacement. Post-operative care can also be completed in office as well as post-operative cataract glasses provided. After cataract surgery, posterior capsule opacity lens epithelial cells can continue to grow on the capsule. Treatment for this is a YAG laser and Family Vision Care of Ponca City can provide this non-invasive procedure on-site. co-management
Co-Management care is when another provider performs a procedure but we at Family Vision Care of Ponca City monitor the patient before and after. We work with several optometrists and ophthalmologists that specialize in areas we do not. Such areas include:
glaucoma
During our normal eye examinations we screen for glaucoma, a group of related eye disorders that cause damage to the optic nerve. Family Vision Care of Ponca City has the technology to diagnose, treat and manage glaucoma.
